Leaders of Volusia County's Various 912 Patriot/TEA Party Movement Groups Gather To Denounce The 'Florida Tea Party' (political party) Sham

Deland, FL (July 1, 2010)
– The leaders of Volusia County's various 912 Patriot/Tea Party movement groups and other patriot groups around Florida consider the Florida Tea Party (political party), which was incorporated last year by Fred O'Neil, to be a sham. They will be joined by the Florida Director of The 912 Project, Don Hensarling. A press conference will be held on the steps of the Dept. of Elections, 125 W. New York Ave., Deland, FL .on this Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 4pm to denounce any affiliation.  Statewide, various 912 and Tea Party movement group leaders plan to publicly reject the strategy of a third political party and denounce any affiliation with the incorporated Florida Tea Party (political party) and their endorsees.

"A third party will only split the right-of-center vote and ensure that the Left wins elections that it would normally lose.  We were concerned that the Florida Tea Party (political party) would prove to be one of the Left's dirty-tricks operations" said one Tea Party member.  Subsequent reports indicate that they may have guessed correctly: www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=37711

In addition to the denouncement, the statewide conferences and rallies are aimed for the following proclamations:

1.      That the Florida Tea Party (political party) has nothing to do with the true Tea Party movement;

2.      That, in particular, the Florida Tea Party has nothing to do with the various Volusia 912 Patriot groups, the Florida 912 Project or the Tea Party movement

3.      That the numerous press accounts of financial and other linkage between Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson and the Florida Tea Party (political party) indicates that the probable purpose of the Florida Tea Party political party) is to deliver victory to the Left in November by splitting the right-of-center vote;

4.      To call for the immediate withdrawal of all Florida Tea Party (political party) candidates to preserve their reputations of not being party to a highly suspicious operation.

Remember Alan Grayson, who said the Republican health care plan was for you "to die quickly?" Maybe you also remember that he called a Ben Bernanke aide a "K Street Whore" and said that oil prices might be lower if President Bush had "gone to second base" with the Saudi leader. Or, more recently, that he compared the Republican Party to Al Qaeda.

Not a week goes by that Alan Grayson does not make an outrageous comment, providing a window into his out-of-control liberalism and vendetta against conservatives. And it's not just offensive comments.

Grayson's latest scandal entails funding a fake political party under the name "Florida Tea Party" in an attempt to split the conservative vote, weaken the Republican candidate, and increase Grayson's chances for re-election.

One of the "Florida Tea Party" candidates is a "quasi-paralegal assistant," a house cleaner, and the sole employee of a company that the Grayson campaign paid nearly $20,000 for polling -- despite never actually conducting polling before.

Alan Grayson's campaign paid a company formed by Victoria Torres, a Florida Tea Party candidate for the state House of Representatives, $19,898.

Torres' business partner in this company is Doug Guetzloe, a co-founder of the Florida Tea Party, who refuses to disclose how much money he has received from Grayson's campaign.

Guetzloe's radio program -- now cancelled because of his involvement in this scandal -- has been sponsored with advertising dollars from Alan Grayson's campaign.

Florida Tea Party candidate Raul Rodriquez listed himself as treasurer of 'The Friends to Re-Elect Alan Grayson.'
